Professional, customized training for young horses, developing horses, and performance partners.

At Catskill Equestrian Center, we offer year-round training programs tailored to each individual horse and rider. From starting young horses and restarting OTTBs, to tuning up seasoned mounts and preparing horses for showing or sale, our focus is on creating safe, confident, rideable horses with correct foundations.

All training programs are customized to the horse’s needs and goals and include full board.

OUR TRAINING APPROACH

Training is overseen by professional rider and ARIA-certified instructor Tiffani Donahue, with support from experienced assistant trainers as appropriate for each horse.

Every horse in training receives:

  • Individualized training plans

  • Professional rides and structured programs

  • Consistent groundwork and correct basics

  • Turnout and standard or customized care options

  • Owner involvement if desired

We emphasize correct development, confidence, rideability, and long-term soundness — whether the horse’s future is in the show ring, lesson program, or private ownership.
