summer riding camp
A fun educational, and structured summer riding camp for kids who love horses and want to truly learn to ride and care for them.
Our summer program is built for campers who want to learn what its like to have a horse of their own. Campers spend their days riding, learning horsemanship, and building confidence both in and out of the saddle in a safe, supportive environment.
Camp hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Ages 7 and up | All riding levels welcome
What makes our camp different:
Campers are assigned a horse for the week
Daily riding instruction (English & western)
small group sizes (6 campers per instructor)
emphasis on real horsemanship and responsibility
supervised at all times
Friday horse show & drill performance
This is a hands-on riding camp designed to help campers build skills, independence and confidence.
What campers do:
Throughout the week campers participate in:
Daily riding lessons (flat & jumping depending on level)
grooming, tacking and horse care
learning about feeding, tack care, and barn management
trail rides & cross-country riding
Gymkhana games & mounted activities
Drill team exercises
Preparing for a Friday horse show
Every camper is actively involved in their horse’s daily care and routine
Levels & Groups:
We place campers into groups based on age and riding experience.
Regular Camp
Open to beginners and riders with some experience. Groups are structured to allow beginners to learn safely while more experienced riders continue to progress.
Advanced Camp
Advanced camp is for riders who:
ride regularly (at least once per week)
can walk, trot, and canter independently
own or lease a horse, or who are active lesson students
Advanced weeks focus on increased riding time, skill development, and more intensive instruction.
A typical day
Each day includes a mix of:
Riding lessons
horse care and grooming
barn education
mounted activities
supervised breaks and lunch
Lunch break is approximately 30 minutes. Campers must bring their own lunch. Refrigeration is available.

Important Expectations
Our camp is active and horse focused.
campers must:
Be willing to ride daily
groom and tack their horses
follow safety rules and instructor direction
treat horses, staff, and other campers with respect
This program is not a good fit for children who are not interested in riding or participating in barn activities.

ASTM/SEI approved helmets provided
Long pants and boots with a heel required

Advanced camp: $700 per week
$100 non-refundable deposit required per week
