Catskill Equestrian Center is located at Bailiwick Animal Park in Catskill, New York, nestled in the foothills of the picturesque Catskill Mountains. Our farm spans over 300 acres and is directly adjacent to a state park, offering miles of scenic riding trails and a peaceful, natural setting.

Family owned and operated since 1963, our facility has generations of experience providing quality horse care, professional instruction, and a welcoming environment for riders of all ages and disciplines.

Our facility features both indoor and outdoor lighted arenas, allowing for year-round riding in all weather. We also offer a cross-country course, round pen, multiple tack rooms, indoor & outdoor bathing stalls, lounge space, and miles of trails that overlook the Hudson Valley.

We provide full board as well as short- and long-term options, all with daily turnout. Horses of all breeds and disciplines are welcome.

Located approximately 20 minutes from HITS-on-the-Hudson, Catskill Equestrian Center is well suited for riders competing on the show circuit. We offer short-term and seasonal boarding options and are expanding our facility this spring to include additional private paddocks for horses requiring individual turnout or customized care.

Catskill Equestrian Center offers English and Western riding instruction from beginner to advanced levels, for children through adults, on safe, sound, and well-mannered horses. Lessons are tailored to meet the individual goals of each rider, whether for recreation, competition, or personal growth. All instructors are certified.

We proudly host clinics, camps, and shows throughout the year and maintain an active training and sales program. Trailer-in riding and hauling services are also available.

Our facility is designed to be a place where both horses and people can thrive — a family-friendly, professional environment set in a tranquil Catskills landscape. Owners live on the premises, ensuring consistent care and hands-on management with no “closing hours.”
