Catskill Equestrian Center is proud to host a variety of schooling shows, fun shows, buckle series events, and community competitions throughout the year.
Our events are designed to be welcoming, affordable, and well-run — with divisions for all levels, from first-time competitors to experienced riders.
We host both English and Western events and focus on creating a positive, educational environment for riders of all ages.

Spring Fling Fun Show
Sunday, April 19 – 10:00 AM
Join us for our annual Spring Fling Fun Show featuring jumper divisions, cross rails, gymkhana games, obstacle classes, trail, in-hand, bareback, team games, and more!
• $10 per class
• Ribbons 1st–6th
• Prizes in classes with 6+ entries
• Casual schooling attire welcome
FRIDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS
2026 Buckle Series Gymkhanas
Our Friday Night Gymkhana Series features leadline through open divisions and is pointed toward year-end awards.
All shows start at 5:00 PM
2026 Dates:
• May 15
• June 19
• July 17
• September 18
• October 16
Divisions include:
Leadline, Green, Pee Wee, Junior & Open
Points accumulate toward high-point and year-end buckle awards.
Friday Nights Under the Lights – Jumpers
All shows start at 6:00 PM
2026 Dates:
• May 22nd
• June 26th
• July 24th
Evening jumper schooling shows under the lights with clear round and timed divisions. Perfect for gaining mileage in a relaxed but professional setting.
CEC Open Schooling Show Series
July 19 & September 13
Our Open Schooling Show Series is designed to be a welcoming, low-pressure introduction to showing — perfect for first-time exhibitors, lesson riders, green horses, and local barns.
English divisions run in the morning, followed by Western divisions in the afternoon. With classes from leadline and walk/trot through crossrails and 2’3”, there’s something for every level.
Schooling attire is welcome, braiding optional, and the atmosphere is supportive and encouraging.
✨ Compete for High Point English Rider, High Point Western Rider, and our Versatility Award.

Trick-or-Trot Fall Fun Show
Date: October 17th - 10am
A festive fall show featuring costume classes, games, and family-friendly divisions.
• $10 per class
