A Horsemanship Club for Kids
CEC pony club is a hands-on horsemanship program designed for kids who want to learn more than just how to ride. This club focuses on building confident, knowledgeable young horseman and horsewoman through structured education, barn activities, and guided experiences with horses.
Pony club is taught in accordance with United States Pony Club horsemanship guidelines, with an emphasis on safety, responsibility, sportsmanship, and proper horse care - all while having fun.
Schedule
Saturdays | 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (2-hour classes)
Spring Session: May 9th-June 13th
Limited to 6 students per class.
Pricing
$45 per class
$240 for a 6-class package
Advanced registration required.
What is CEC Pony Club?
CEC Pony Club is a small-group horsemanship club where students learn:
Safe horse handling
Grooming and tacking
Barn management and care
horse behavior and communication
Riding fundamentals
Sportsmanship and teamwork
Responsibility and confidence around horses
Most classes include both unmounted learning and riding time, depending on the week’s topic.

Horse Sense Levels program
All pony club students are enrolled in our horse sense levels program, designed to encourage progress, confidence and responsiBILITY.
Students work through a structured series of levels foucsed on:
Horse knowlegde
safe handling
grooming and tacking
riding skills
barn management
As students complete each level, they earn awards and certificates and become eligible to move up to the next horsemanship level.
